Last weekend, we had the pleasure of presenting MIKO brandies to the Belgrade public for the first time, at one of Serbia's most important events dedicated to brandy — the Belgrade Brandy Fest, held on April 25 and 26 in Hangar 3. Following our first festival experiences at the beginning of the year, this was our first exhibition in Belgrade and an opportunity to share with brandy lovers a story that begins long before the first glass — in our orchard in the Aleksandrovac Župa region.
A Wonderful Atmosphere with a Glass of Quince Brandy
Over the two festival days, our stand welcomed a large number of visitors, from longtime brandy connoisseurs to those encountering the MIKO distillery for the first time. We talked about growing quince, the production process, distillation, maturation and everything that goes into a premium brandy.
We were especially happy to share a glass of our quince brandy with so many people, exchange impressions and answer numerous questions about how MIKO brandies are made. Encounters like these confirm that there is great interest in authentic fruit distillates and that the public increasingly recognizes the importance of the fruit's origin, careful distillation and dedication to quality.
Festival Organization
The Belgrade Brandy Fest once again showed how much events like this contribute to the development of brandy culture in Serbia. In addition to the opportunity to present our brandies, the festival brought us many new acquaintances, interesting conversations with fellow producers and valuable feedback from visitors.
Many thanks to the organizers for the excellent organization, pleasant atmosphere and hospitality, as well as to everyone who took the time to visit our stand. Your questions, comments and positive impressions are an additional motivation to continue developing the MIKO distillery and creating brandies that faithfully convey the character of the fruit from which they are made.
