MIKO distillery is deeply rooted in family values, where heritage naturally blends with a vision for the future. Twenty-one years ago, we acquired our first plot in Župa, the traditional region of Serbian wine culture, wine making and fruit growing. Five years ago, our first quince trees took root.
Now with over 570 plots and 24,900 trees, we've formed our estate and philosophy - to ensure that every fruit and every drop of brandy reflects our respect for nature, which allows us to grow. These principles are at the heart of our mission: to preserve natural treasures and the tradition of crafting premium brandies for future generations.

The fruits at MIKO are not just nature's gifts - they are the result of hard work, innovation, and dedication. Our estate features 33 hectares of quince orchards and 5.5 hectares of plums, forming the foundation of our fruit brandies. We cultivate four varieties of quince, with the Leskovac variety being the most prominent.
In addition to our quince orchard, we await the first harvest of our plums, with 80% of them being the indigenous Crvena Ranka variety. At the heart of our orchard lies our distillery, allowing the orchard and distillery to function in perfect synergy.
This approach enables us to process the fruit on the very day it's harvested, preserving its freshness and natural aroma. As a result, the quality of our products is not a promise but a fact arising from optimal production conditions.

We have developed an eco-conscious production system that includes solar panels to power the distillery, a drip irrigation system for the orchard, and an ongoing project to transform fruit residue into natural fertilizer, helping us eliminate waste.
